Lionheart Vignettes Creative Development
I’m Late!
Lionheart as student races across screen en-route to school. A few books drop out of their backpack as the character exits. Lionheart quickly returns to retrieve books and dashes back out of frame. Camera booms up to Salesforce logo. Alt. ending option: Cloud logo rings like a bell at the end.
The Butterfly
We open on a magnified eye and cut to reveal it’s Lionheart with a magnifying glass observing the moving chrysalis of a butterfly about to emerge. Lionheart raises a book to study “The Life of a Butterfly” when another butterfly flies over head and catches Lionheart’s attention. Lionheart watches as the butterfly flutters up and up to reveal a kaleidoscope of butterflies that quickly disperse to reveal our logo mnemonic.
Lending a Hand
A squirrel searches the landscape for their hidden stored nuts and digs at various spots but no luck. Lionheart notices and joins the search to help. Lionheart uncovers a nut that they offer to the hesitant squirrel. The squirrel takes the nut and scampers off. Camera Booms up to logo mnemonic. Squirrel quickly appears through the leaves and snatches a nut before vanishing back into the tree.
Nurture
Lionheart enters and notices a poor sapling in a small mound of dirt not doing so well. We begin a time-lapse montage seeing Lionheart water the plant, wrapping it in a blanket during winter, reading to it and basically nurturing it so it thrives and grows. We end with Lionheart now sitting under a fully grown tree and a plum drops to the ground by Lionheart as if a sign of gratitude. Camera booms up to our cloud logo.
Ecopreneur
A blue cloud lowers into frame and begins to rain as it moves in a circle. The rain stops and plants begin to sprout and grow into a ring of lush foliage. Lionheart pops out of a hatch at the top of the cloud and waves at camera. Our character then quickly returns, closing the hatch and we follow as the cloud returns to the sky resolving to our logo. [Editorial cut at the end to wider shot]
Waste Not
A plastic bag wafts through the air to and fro by the wind. Lionheart frantically enters frame clearly on the chase. The stubborn bag is finally caught and Lionheart puts it in a nearby recycling bin. Lionheart dusts off hands and walks off frame as the camera booms up to the logo animation.
